J-Pop Powerplay Kawaii Radio

More Fairy Tale Resources. You are spoilt for choice!

You will have this period to prepare your performances.

Make notes in your work books.

I have a record of your choices and the spread includes Urashima Taro, Momotaro, Kaguyahime, The Old Man Who Made The Trees Bloom, The Tongue-cut Sparrow, The Lucky Tea Kettle and The Two Frogs.

You need to break down the stories to “chunks” that you can memorise.

Remember to mention at least two colours (the audience sees) and two emotions (the audience feels). The second speaker can take over and take the story along a sequence to the next “trigger point” or the climax. There must be a resolution to the story that in effect creates a new orientation.

Lastly one of the team must say what the moral of the story is. This might be “the recipe for success” or “the hidden dangers of life”. You must make decisions!

There is latitude for creativity. Hollywood is always embellishing and “reorienting” traditional stories for new audiences. Have you heard of
